Cycler, a family-owned business specialising in high-performance mountain bikes and accessories, approached me with distinct requirements for their brand identity. Targeting a male audience aged 25-35 with a keen interest in mountain biking, a healthy lifestyle, and fitness, Cycler aimed to tackle the challenge of sourcing top-quality and professional equipment for mountain biking enthusiasts.
The design needed to be a combination of simplicity and impact, featuring a logo with both a symbol and accompanying text. Importantly, the logo should not be based on a bicycle motif.
The final design proposal incorporated a natural colour palette, a sans-serif font for enhanced readability, and a poly design that seamlessly integrated the company name with a unique symbol. The design intentionally moved away from the conventional bicycle motif to create a distinctive and memorable brand identity.
